The Raid 2 aka as The Raid 2: Berandal is consider as one of the best action movie in 2014, and let me tell you why I am saying it although there are 6 more months till end of the year. If you have watched The Raid (please watch if you haven't) this just amplifies everything from the story right up to the action. Continuing what happen in the first movie, the same hero Rama (Iko Uwais) take up a role to be a mole in one of the most influential Indonesian gangster family. THE GOOD  Remember the fighting sequence that you loved in Raid 1? Raid 2 comes with tons of that! Prepare for more close quarter combat and lots of brutal fights which makes you go "AWWW SHITTTT THAT GOTTA HURT!". The old villian in Raid 1(Mad Dog) is brought back to live although a different character but still the ever loving fight scene. Writing this review because the second movie, The Raid 2: Berandal is out but not on local theaters unfortunately. If you have not watch the first part, I hope to convince you to watch this Indonesian action pack show. It starts with a group of  S.W.A.T team trying to take down a drug lord by raiding his nest fill with army of killers and thugs. Rama (Iko Uwais) is in the team lead by Lieutenant Wahyu ( Pierre Gruno) to enter and capture the drug lord, Tama ( Ray Sahetapy). What started off as a normal capture mission went haywire when they were spotted by the tenants and alerted the drug lord. All hell broke loose from there and the fight for survival begins with lots of close quarter combat and shooting. THE GOOD  I will consider this to be one of most fast paced close quarter combat movie that you will ever find. My always addiction, Whatsapp. In 2005, I was stuck with something people call the Short Message System (SMS) spending hours till I eventually felt asleep texting someone. At times waking up from my sleep and hitting SEND just to reply the previous SMS which I felt asleep typing. Fast forward a few years later, I got myself a smartphone and eventually became a slave to it by downloading Whatsapp off App Store for iPhone. My days of texting experience just got elevated to a whole new different level. Last time you only can send text or pictures but with Whatsapp, you can do this: LOOK AT ALL THE OPTIONS! The app is free and still is, which makes downloading it so freaking easy! My life change shortly after i downloaded it. TOOTHLESS ISSSSSS BACKKKKKKK! This is a whole new reason for you to fall in love with dragons again! The first part teaches you about tolerance, love, and also synergy. The first movie show you if you believe in something and pursue it, good things will come from it. People will learn to not only accept that you are crazy, but also succumb to the fact that something awesome/crazy will comes from all that persistence. At the end of the movie, Hiccup managed to make dragon and vikings come together and work as a community (spoiler!) Angelina Jolie, last seen in The Tourist together with Johnny Depp not counting Kung Fu Panda 2 is back in action. This time she plays a sweet fairy till someone human broke her heart and used her to became the king by proving that she is dead - cutting her wings! Maleficent curse the princess to fall into deep sleep on her 16th birthday and not wake up unless she get a true love kiss (it's DISNEY, what are you looking at!) THE GOOD Like all Disney movies, it comes with a lesson behind it. LOVE is the most powerful thing in the universe. It will definitely get you through things. Angelina Jolie acting as usual is really good, make me feel like the whole character of Maleficent is solely customize for her. There is something which Angelina eyes which makes me feel lost when I stare into it. Elle Fanning played a good supporting actress with her fantastic smile and her carefree moment.
