MOVIE REVIEW: HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2

Image
Once again, thanks  +ChurpChurp  for the #Churpremiere of Hotel Transylvania 2. If you follow this cartoon closely, you will be sure to remember that a vampire is going to marry a normal human which freaks the hell out of her father, Count Dracula. Fast forward, the second part will bring you even more in depth of the human and monster families where the bond will be stronger and learning to blend together. This movie rate 3 out of 5 stars easily and read more to know why: THE GOOD All the characters are back and this time you get back stories on almost all of them. Besides that, you will be taken directly into the ending of the first part and familiarities are almost everywhere. It also have jokes which will tickle your funny bones. Most of it comes from Count Dracula trying to get his grandson to take over his throne, to be like him.  THE BAD The movie felt a little too long although it might tickle your funny bones. It felt force towards the middle of th...

MOVIE REVIEW: CINDERELLA

Image
Everyone knows about the fairytale story of a poor girl marrying a prince. All she needs to do was to believe and to be kind always even to her step mother who treats her like the house maid. This story was no different rendition from the fairytale that we all come to love/hate while we were growing up.  Master IMBD , summarise for us - When her father unexpectedly passes away, young Ella finds herself at the mercy of her cruel stepmother and her daughters. Never one to give up hope, Ella's fortunes begin to change after meeting a dashing stranger. Which basically means  Ella or Cinderella later ( Lily James ) fall in love with a prince, ( Richard Madden ) and hopes to marry him but was stop by the almighty bitchy stepmother, ( Cate Blanchett ) and her two daughter, Drisella and Anastasia who I won't even bother mentioning the actresses.  THE GOOD Everything about the fairytale was in the movie, from the super glassy heels/slippers, the almight...

K-EFLECTION: BYE 2014, HELLO 2015

Image
2014 was not a strong year to begin with but throughout the year, it gotten much much better and I am thankful for that. I have compile a list of things which I learnt throughout the year, the source can be from close ones or simply just observing things that has been happening.  1. Take the chance(s) As much as you think I am in the #YOLO generation, there are more than one time I did not take the chance to leap myself forward but then over thinking got the best of me and ultimately FEAR got the best of me thus I decided to just let it slip to someone else. This coming 2015, I think I should take as many chances as I can just to you know, to compensate for whatever I miss in 2014 :D.  Took this leap of faith, but not others. Damn! 2. Keep your trust 2014 certainly showed me what type of people you can meet. If you have doubt, keep your trust. Never trust too early. Friendship can change throughout the year, it is okay if you are a little selfish towards your...

MOVIE REVIEW: BLENDED

Image
Jim (Adam Sandler) is a single father with three daughters while Lauren (Drew Barrymore) is also a single mum with 2 sons. They both know a mutual someone who is cancelling their trip to Africa, thus without thinking much they signed up for the trip and get lower rates to Africa with the event activity called blended which the hotel organize for step father, step mother, step daughter, step son and the list goes on. THE GOOD As much as both of them tries to avoid each other, they are actually somewhat stuck which makes the show fun to watch as they slowly care for the kids together. We see the gap that a mum or a dad should be filling in a family. The whole joke along with Nickes (Terry Crews) just made the show whole lot better, he and his crew named 'Thathoo Harmony Group' will appear on random times and start singing with really funny lyrics. There is also some touching moment when the relationship are being formed between families. THE BAD Like all comedy mo...

MOVIE REVIEW: DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES

Image
Watch the first part of this movie which is "Rise of the Planet Apes" where you will then remember some part in the movie since it is a sequel to the movie. The main character, Caeser, is still inside where he is the super smart chimpanzee to survive the experiment which leads to the a viral flu which wipes out almost the whole world populating leaving those who are immune to it. What you will experience is leadership at it's best, makes you question yourself will there be such leader in human where we respect and worship so much. That being said read on for the movie review. THE GOOD The story line and plot make sense after the incident from previous movie. We see Caeser grown to be a well respected leader and continuing to teach apes how to care for the other apes. As a leader, he cares for the apes and ensure that they are always safety. Lots of feeling moment as you will be surprise as the apes touch you more than the humans do. There is always a revisit of...
