KRABI ADVENTURES

Image
Since I visited Hatyai, Thailand back in the year 2009/2010. It felt like home. Thailand is always known for their hospitality and the trip to Phuket in 2013 just assured me that hospitality is indeed their main business. Then in 2015, I am fortunate enough to have a 4 days 3 nights stay in Krabi with le gf.  Thanks to AirAsia zero fare promotion, we booked our ticket 6 month earlier before the actual event, and that 6 month surely did zoomed past us. All of a sudden, I vividly remembered I was at the hall packing up stuff to go on a trip, feeling half excited and another half lazy.  We took the Aerobus to KLIA2 which took exactly 1 hour from Paradigm Mall right up to the doors of KLIA 2. The tickets are RM10/trip. Since our bus was early at 8.30 am we took a taxi to Paradigm Mall, and shortly after boarding, I felt asleep instantly until we reached KLIA 2.  KLIA 2 is indeed a new upcoming shopping mall, with lots of choices of eateries and many other necess...

MOVIE REVIEW: TRACERS

Image
So Mr Taylor Lautner is back, this time not on all fours but he is real human instead. He is a York City bike messenger who is wanted by the mafia escapes into the world of parkour after meeting a beautiful stranger. Then it spiral off into romance as usual, so read up and do support me if you like it. (maybe share or comment will do :P)  THE GOOD Lots of running and more running! I personally feel it is good because this is kind of pacing is rare in a movie, started of with cycling and then parkour which is good for different change in the usual run and gun action movie. It also shows the versatility of Taylor Lautner as he grow from his role of being a blardy dog (no, not a wolf, it's a dog). The pacing of the movie and the storyline feels just nice not being too fast or way too slow. The storyline was also something believable not blown over the top.  THE BAD  While it is a parkour movie, it shows how easy for you to learn parkour. All you need to ...

GAME REVIEW: CALL OF DUTY ADVANCED WARFARE

Image
That's right, it is this EPIC. Yeah game has been out since November 2014 and I am only writing about it now. That is because I recently just gotten the urge to play the single player and throughout the whole game, no regrets. I actually finished the game two weeks back and totally forgotten about it because it was the New Year and after that I went to Krabi (going to blog about it this real soon, I promise!). This is a SINGLE PLAYER review only.  The story takes place in 2054, where the world is currently being controlled by the largest private military corporation called ATLAS. Over here, you play one of the military soldier which is under ATLAS after some mishap that leads you to lose the ability to fight as a soldier. So, ATLAS approached you to grant you that SECOND chance.  The main fun for Single Player is the grappling hook. Watch the video below and you will see the grappling action which will provide you more than enough fun throughout the campaign.  ...

TOP 5 MALAYSIAN CINEMA HABIT - ROUND 2

Image
So when I posted the top Malaysian habits in the cinema part 1 (READ HERE) , seems like I have gotten some comments over on Facebook concerning some missing habits which I did not cover, so here is the second round of Malaysian habit in the cinema 1. The Loud One Ahhh how can I forget about this, maybe because I tend to be in this category once awhile and when I do (often) it is time to munch slower and quietly. There are some who seems to be able to munch as though they are eating the seats or their fucking phone. In no way you could ever imagine that popcorns can sound this loud what else in a hall so fucking huge. All you hear is OM NOM NOM NOM NOM and it keeps getting louder together with the sound of them digging into their popcorn. TOPKEK mate. It add the extra dimension when you are watching movie, all of a sudden you feel like a digging scene or eating scene is coming up. 2. The Silent One Tilting their ass and letting out a gas of destruction and confusion. This is a...

TOP 8 MALAYSIAN CINEMA HABITS

Image
As you know, I have PhD in Movies and Masters in Cinema Visits and that means I have done my research ample of times. Having to frequent lots of cinema gives you the chance to observe the many different behaviours of the patrons of cinemas in Malaysia. I will now write some of the epic ethics in cinema which I sincerely hope that Malaysians at least get their shit together for better cinema experience for everyone. Why top 8 you ask? Because top 10 is too mainstream and also  THIS IS A RAGE EDITION!  1. Chair Rocking Do not rock chair or chairs. A rocking chair is a fucking rocking chair no matter whoever chair it belongs to . The last thing I want when I am immersing myself in a movie is my chair felt like a fucking roller coaster. I meant seriously people, stop shaking that chair of yours, what are you doing bro? STAHP! Are you making out with that chair? #foreveralone. This shit happens mostly from a guy, happens lesser when a lady sits beside me. 2. Explanation Du...

[K-Listens] TaeTiSeo : Holler 2nd Mini Album

Image
Ever since I listened to Twinkle by T ae T i S eo (Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun) by 3 of the 9 8 now after the sudden departure of Jessica   which caught the attention of fans (SONE)  and non-fans. SM Entertainment (SNSD agency) took a stock dip after her announcement on leaving the group. Jessica's issue turned the K-pop scene upside down and but thankfully TTS album was absolutely amazing. Sometimes I wish there were more songs but then again you know what they say right, QUALITY over QUANTITY people. This 2nd mini album name "Holler" with such a fine looking album art featuring 6 track list as below. Track List: 01. Holler 02. 아드레날린 (Adrenaline) 03. ë‚´ê°€ 네게 (Whisper)  04. Stay 05. Only U  06. EYES TTS 2nd mini album!  Their  first song is  Holler  and it also the upbeat opening song compare to Twinkle although they got the same opening as Twinkle. This song showcase more towards their group synergy and also towards the voca...

TECH REVIEW: HUAWEI HONOR 3C

Image
The blue box although the phone is WHITE It has been X years since I had this phone (not me actually, gf's phone) and I must say the android experience seems good enough for her which came from HTC One X and she is relatively happy. So lets just get to the review process and have fun with it. I will not go into very detail about bench marking, as you have that on the web and you can Google to find out more but instead I will be giving you the rundown on the simple pleasures you get using the phone. SIZE DOES MATTER As for the size, you will be getting a 5 inch screen with around 294 ppi which means things are crispy and clear while not as clear as your iPhone or Android phones you will not find it any disturbance. Everything that is viewed on the IPS LCD are bright and clear and closer to their natural colors. The viewing angle are also good (careful on what you are viewing and those sex-ting that is happening in public, they can see!) The three button below the screen which...

TECH REVIEW: MI IN-EAR HEADPHONES

Image
In the future, I am pretty sure I will be writing more on Xiaomi. It seems like they are producing more and more product with value for money and today I will be talking about the Mi In-Ear Headphones. This product only cost RM50 over at  http://mi.com/my  under the headphones section.  Simple packing with just their logo.  The outer wrapping with instructions on it. The headphones comes with such classy packing as though it is much more expensive than the designated price. It comes with the instruction in the inside of the outer packaging with instructions on how to operate the device.  I only had the chance to listen to it momentarily as it is not own by me (bought for Kane, therefore have to return to him). Since I have the weekend to use them, I just fire up some tracks on my phone, I have a wide range of music ranging from EDM all the way to oldies therefore I can say the headphones are definitely up to par with the musics. After several hou...

MOVIE REVIEW: LUCY

Image
Lucy (Scarlett Johansson) tells a story of a girl who is able to unlock 100% of her brain capacity with the help of powerful synthetic drug. She was suppose to just deliver the good which was implanted in her stomach but things took a turn when she was keep captive and was tortured by the captor. She meets up with Professor Norman (Morgan Freeman) to show the world what happen when you use 100% of your brain capacity. THE GOOD Scarlett Johnssson played her role the best she could. She made it look natural and you can feel the emotions running through her at least unlike Megan Fox (SJ > MF). THE BAD Everything. Basically, for starters everyone can seems to be carrying a gun freely in the streets, doesn't matter where she is, in a hospital, hotel or just along the streets. The cops also fail to realise that the baddies are outside of the same very university that they stopped at. People are across the street loading up weapon and you all run into the building? (WTF?...

SERIES REVIEW: Arrow Season 1

Image
Arrow is such a fantastic TV series from DC. I was actually recommended by my friend and it took me really long time to download and watch. After the first episode 1, I was sitting through all the other 23 episodes in a one weekend. The scenario of a billionaire son, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) stuck in an island for 5 years after his yacht sank in the middle of the sea. Upon coming back, he change and try to be justice to his beloved city.  You will hear he said this for the X number of times:  Oliver Queen : My name is Oliver Queen. For five years I was stranded on an island with only one goal - survive. Now I will fulfill my father's dying wish - to use the list of names he left me and bring down those who are poisoning my city. To do this, I must become someone else. I must become something else.  I will no go through every episode with you, cause as usual that takes way too much time for me and for you to even read them. Mr Queen, assisted with his ...
