MOVIE REVIEW: THE WEDDING RINGER


This is a show for the foreveralone, Doug Harris (Josh Gad) will be marrying the lady of his dreams, Gretchen Palmer (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting). 2 weeks before his marriage, he has no best man or friends. So he hired Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart) CEO of Best Man Inc, a company which provides flattering best man for socially challenged guys in need. 

THE GOOD

The show is for the light hearted, lots of humours and also much bromance moments. The storyline sync perfectly with the havoc that is created by Kevin Hart and Josh Gad. These two clowns seems like they have been friend even before the show started filming. You can see lots of bromance and natural moments as we progress through the show. Kevin Hart single handedly carried the movie as his characteristic is simply natural for the movie. 

THE BAD

Like every other romance comedy, the end are much predictable. Besides that, they are some loopholes in the movie especially with Kevin Hart disguising to the be their best friend without getting caught was somehow questionable. The grandma who got burned and live through it with lots of make up sometimes make this movie cheaper than it seems. Suddenly, it feels like a parody of another movie. Besides that, I am somehow disappointed with the acting of Kaley Cuoco in here, feels less natural together with Josh Gad. 

CONCLUSION

If you are looking for something to watch in the cinemas, I will highly recommend this instead of TRACERS or Vice. If you are willing to wait just a little bit more, maybe something like Jupiter Ascending or Kingsman: The Secret Service is worth waiting this month. 

TL;DR: Bromance, racist jokes, a wedding to crash.

MOVIE REVIEW: THE BOOK OF LIFE

Animation keeps getting better these days and resulting a much nicer experience and also laughter when watching one. The Book of Life speaks about a fairy tale love where 2 guys, Manolo ( Diego Luna ) and Joaquin ( Channing Tatum ) tries to capture the heart of Maria ( Zoe Saldana ). The gods put their bets on either one to marry Maria and thus set one of them off to an adventure span on three fantastic worlds. THE GOOD The animation is beautiful. Everything inside the show feels like you are playing "Little Big Planet" . It really takes you on an adventure and the acting on all fronts are good. The voice acting couple with the singing and dancing really keep you feel touched and feel like dancing. There are some parts where you just keep wanting to know more what happens next. REVIEW: CASIO G-SHOCK DW-5600MS

I find it hard to not write about something like this as the price factor and the pure comfort of the watch. The 5600 series from Casio has been around nested nicely under G-Shock without much of anything to shout about. The design is different from the round type you see from the G-Shock series. The 5600 is more towards square shape and it sits in your arms really nicely. I am not much of a watch enthusiast but I have read more about watches in the last 1 year than about anything else. As much as I am not well versed in their terms, I think my knowledge on their movement and the material build is okay.
