MOVIE REVIEW: LOGAN

Logan was such a good movie to watch, the clearly used the R rating in this case and also the storyline takes a slow and depressing method to the very end. I shall go straight to the good and bad of the movie which I personally feel this movie score an easy 8 out of 10 stars for me.

THE GOOD

Brutal and lots of limbs flying in this movie. The reason they rated this movie R is that lots of the fight scene involve people losing their limbs, half of their face and many other very graphic fighting scene. This is in sync with most of the comic about Wolverine where his fight is brutal, fast-paced and full of people losing their limbs. Aside from that, the storyline took a drastic turn to be very slow and character focus which is really good. The action and story played a vital role to ensure that you pay attention to what is to come. Somewhat, you are curious when will there be a next fighting scene and also what will happen in that particular scene. The introduction of X-23 although she barely said anything in the movie brings a good character twist on Logan as we see the different side of him.

THE BAD

The storyline for Logan can be quite confusing for most of the people. That being said, if you have been following all the X-Men series actively then you will not feel that lost in the movie. If not, I shall recommend you to watch the earlier X-Men (First Class and Days of Future Past at least). Other than that, I personally wanted the mutant kids to showcase more power but then again, they are not the main cast of the movie.

CONCLUSION

Such a fitting end to the most iconic character of X-Men. Throughout the movie, I truly enjoyed watching scene after scene of action and also the deep but depressing storyline. I wish more X-Men movie was made like this.
